Our Scholarships

ACSF provides Symposium Scholarships for early career talent, such as students, emerging professionals, and junior faculty.

About ACSF Symposium Scholarships

This program supports individuals early in their careers who are committed to the study and/or practice of architecture (or any of its allied disciplines), in relation to culture and spirituality.

The scholarship is intended to:

  • recognize the person’s promise as future scholar or professional in the field,
  • defray the cost of attending the annual ACSF symposium where the awardee will present work, and
  • assist them in establishing valuable relationships with established academics and
    practitioners.

The scholarships are typically $500 USD, contingent on annual funding.

Symposium Scholarship Requirements

Applicant should:
  • be a student, emerging professional, or junior faculty
  • be an author (or co-author) whose work has been accepted for presentation at the annual symposium
  • submit a letter articulating the reason(s) they should receive the scholarship, and a short cv
  • attend the annual symposium and present their paper.

Candidates do not need to be ACSF members.
